Phang Nga Bay

One of the main attractions when visiting Khao Lak is to take a boat trip and view the coastline from out at sea whilst visiting nearby islands and deserted beaches.

Phang Nga Bay is a must-see on any tourists list for the remarkable limestone formations that jut out of the sea and soar towards the sky whilst hidden inside are secret caves and tropical lagoons. Day trips usually include visiting the sea gypsy village built on stilts over the water with an enormous limestone rock as a dramatic backdrop, and the famed Tapu Island, most commonly known as ‘James Bond Island’ as 'The Man with the Golden Gun' was filmed here.
